Challenge Replay

Replay your closed trades through prop firm challenges to see which accounts you would have funded, which you would have failed, and which rule ended the attempt.

Challenge replay

Challenge replay answers one question: with the trades you actually closed, which prop firm accounts would you have funded, and which rule ended the attempts that failed. Open Analytics, then Challenge replay under the risk group, next to Monte Carlo analysis.

Challenge replay with the funded count, a result bar, and one row per firm account

The page follows your active account scope, filter, timezone, and resolved currency. Select an account first; without one the page asks you to select an account.

How the replay works

Every account in the firm catalog starts from zero at the firm's size and takes your trades in the order you closed them, phase by phase:

  1. An evaluation phase ends as passed when the profit target is reached and the phase's trading-day and consistency requirements hold, or as failed when a loss rule is breached after a closed trade.
  2. After the last evaluation phase, the account is funded from the trade that completed it. Programs without an evaluation are funded from the first trade.
  3. The trades after funding are replayed against the funded account's loss rules to show whether it would have survived.

Each account is replayed from the first trade in scope on its own fresh balance, so the rows are comparable. Narrow the date filter to start the replay later. The rules come from the firms' published terms.

The replay uses closed P&L only. Floating P&L, intraday equity, firm server time, and conduct rules such as news or holding restrictions are not applied. Rules the replay could not check are listed for each account.

Only closed trades with a P&L in the active currency enter the replay. The line under the totals states how many trades the replay used and since when, and how many trades without a P&L in this currency were left out. When no closed trade matches the filters, or when no catalog account uses your currency, the page says so and names the currencies the catalog covers.

Read the totals

  • Accounts funded is the lead figure: how many catalog accounts the replay funded, out of all of them.
  • Firms with funding counts firms with at least one funded account.
  • Failed counts accounts that breached a loss rule in an evaluation phase.
  • Not reached counts accounts that ended without a result because the trades ran out before the target was reached.

The bar beneath the figures shows the same split.

Read the table

Firms are listed with the largest share of funded accounts first. Each firm header shows how many of its accounts were funded, whatever the filters below are set to. Inside a firm, accounts run from the smallest size up, so the size where your trading stopped qualifying stands out.

ColumnWhat it shows
AccountThe account variant and its evaluation model.
SizeThe starting balance of the account.
ResultFunded, Failed, or Not reached.
DetailFor a funded account whether it survived afterwards, for example Funded account active or Funded account lost to Drawdown after 12 days. For a failed account the phase and the rule that ended it. For a not reached account the phase and a progress bar with the percentage of the profit target.
DaysTrading days across the replayed evaluation phases.
DateThe funding date for funded accounts and the breach date for failed ones. Empty for accounts that did not reach a result.
RulesAll checked, or the number of unchecked rules. Hover it to list them under Rules not applied.

Use the Result switch to show only funded, failed, or not reached accounts, and the Firm menu to focus on one firm. Hover How this works under the totals for the short version of the limits above.

Loading and errors

  • While trades and firm rules load, the page shows a placeholder.
  • If the trades fail to load, select Retry.
  • If the firm rules did not download, select Retry to request them again. After repeated failures the page asks you to reload instead.
