Edgewonk
Import trades from the Edgewonk trade export workbook.
Export from Edgewonk
- Open Edgewonk and go to the trade export area.
- Export your trades as an Excel file.
- If Edgewonk produces an
.xlsfile, open it in Excel or LibreOffice and save it as.xlsx.
Upload to Tradeways

- In the Trade Log, select Add Trades, then select File Upload.
- Select Edgewonk.
- Drop the XLSX file in the upload area or select it from your device.
- Select the timezone that the Edgewonk timestamps use. The workbook contains no timezone.
- Review the preview and check the execution count, symbols, and commissions.
- Confirm the import.
File Requirements
- Use an
.xlsxworkbook. Legacy.xlsexports are rejected. - The sheet needs these columns:
Opening Time,Type [Buy/Sell],Symbol,Size / Quantity,Closing Time,Entry Price,Closing Price,Commission, andNet Profit. English headers only. - Tradeways scans every sheet in the workbook and uses the first one with this layout.
- Amounts are read as US dollars.
Supported Data
Each row is one trade and becomes an entry and an exit execution. Commission is the round-trip cost and is converted to a per-contract rate. Net Profit is kept for reconciliation against your statement.
Exchange suffixes are removed from futures symbols, so MESM25_FUT_CME and ESU5.CME resolve to MES and ES. Prices in those two formats are exchange-native and are divided by 100.
Limitations
- No fill IDs. Edgewonk rows carry no broker execution ID. Tradeways derives a stable identifier from the row values instead. Edit a trade in Edgewonk and export again, and the changed row imports as a new trade rather than an update.
- One trade per row. A scaled entry appears as one execution at the average price.
- Timezone is required. A wrong timezone moves trades to another session or trading day.
