Tradezella

Import trades from Tradezella via CSV export. Each row is one trade and becomes an entry and an exit execution.

Export from Tradezella

1. Go to Trade View.
2. Select all trades you want to export.
3. Open Bulk Actions and select Export trades to CSV.

Upload to Tradeways

1. In the Trade Log, select Add Trades, then select File Upload.
2. Select Tradezella.
3. Drop the CSV file in the upload area or select it from your device.
4. Review the preview and check the execution count and grouped trades.
5. Confirm the import.

No timezone selection appears. Tradezella writes the timezone into the time value as an abbreviation, for example 09:31:00 EEST, and Tradeways converts it from there.

File Requirements

• Use a .csv export from Bulk Actions.
• The file needs Symbol, Side, Quantity, Executions, Entry Price, Exit Price, Open Date, Open Time, Close Date, and Close Time.
• Side must read Long or Short. Any other value is reported as skipped.
• A row with fewer than two executions is a trade that is still open. It is reported as skipped.
• Rows with a missing or non-positive entry price, exit price, or quantity are reported as skipped.

Limitations

• Unknown timezone abbreviations fall back to UTC. Tradeways adds a warning to the preview that names the abbreviation it could not resolve. Check those trades against your statement before you confirm.
• No broker order IDs. Tradezella exports carry no execution identifier, so duplicate detection cannot recognize a row it already imported. Tradeways says so when an import stops partway through. Resume that run from the report instead of uploading the file again. If you do upload it again, check the Trade Log for duplicates.
• One trade per row. A scaled entry appears as one execution at the average price.
• Root symbols only. Futures trades import under the root instrument, without a dated contract.
• Commission is not imported. Set the commission rate on the trading account or edit the trades after import.
