Manual Trade Entry
Create a trade manually with executions, TP/SL levels, and image attachments.
Manual Trade Entry
Add trades by hand when your broker is not yet supported for CSV import, or when you want to log a trade with custom details.
Opening the Form
Click Add Trades in the Trade Log toolbar, then select Manual Entry. A sheet slides in from the right.

Symbol
Select the instrument from the Symbol dropdown. The list includes all supported symbols across futures, forex, crypto, and stocks. The selected symbol determines price formatting and tick size for the rest of the form.
Executions
Each execution row contains:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Side | Buy or Sell |
| Qty | Number of contracts/shares/lots |
| Price | Fill price (step size adapts to the symbol) |
| Executed At | Date and time of the fill (datetime picker) |
At least one execution is required. Click Add Execution to add more rows for scaling in or out. Remove extra rows with the X icon (the last remaining row cannot be removed).
The trade direction (Long/Short) and open/closed status are determined automatically from the executions:
- A Buy as the first execution creates a Long trade.
- A Sell as the first execution creates a Short trade.
- When total buy quantity equals total sell quantity, the trade is closed.
TP/SL Levels
Expand the TP / SL Levels section to add Take Profit and Stop Loss levels. Toggle between Price (absolute price) and Ticks (distance from entry) input modes.
Click Add under Take Profit or Stop Loss to create a level row. Each level has a price/ticks field and an optional quantity field. Remove a level with the X icon.
Attachments
Drag and drop images onto the upload zone, or click to browse. Queued files show their name, size, and upload status. Remove a file before submission with the X icon.
Images are uploaded in the background. Wait for all uploads to finish before submitting.
Submitting
Click Create Trade at the bottom of the sheet. The button is disabled while images are still uploading. On success the sheet closes and the new trade appears in the Trade Log.
If validation fails (e.g., missing quantity or invalid price), an error message appears below the form fields.
