API Keys

API keys let external tools write trades into Tradeways. New keys default to all your trading accounts — restrict later via Manage Access if you need to.

  • Up to 5 keys per user
  • Keys start with tw_
  • Permission is always Write trades

Each row in the list shows the key name, prefix, an access badge (All Accounts, one badge per restricted account, or No Accounts), permission, created and last-used dates, plus Manage Access and Revoke actions.

Create a key

Click Create API Key, enter a name, and click Create. The full key is shown once in the banner — copy it immediately. To restrict it, hit Manage Access on the row right after.

The Auto Sync wizard in the Add Trades dialog can also create a key for you and hand it straight to the ATAS indicator setup.

Manage Access

On any key, click Manage Access to switch between:

  • All Accounts — writes to every active account (including ones added later).
  • Restricted Accounts — only writes to the accounts you tick.

Changes apply immediately.

Revoke a key

Click Revoke and confirm. The key stops working at once and any tool using it will get an auth error.

ATAS Indicator

The ATAS indicator syncs trades, TP/SL levels, and screenshots from ATAS to Tradeways in real time. See ATAS Indicator for full setup.

Connect your ATAS account: enter your ATAS email and click Save. An Active badge confirms the link.

Edit / Disconnect: use Edit to change the email or Disconnect to remove the link. Disconnecting does not delete already-synced data.
